Blessings Everyone! Thought I would share a picture of the Little One with one of the chick-a-dees...she has such a good time with them! I am not sure they always want to see her coming, she snuggles them, so, LOL!
Today has been quiet, and we have just sort of hung out at the house...a much-needed break. The garden is doing well, despite all of the rain, and the bailing of flooded rows...I am just a biot tired of the every evening rainstorms! However, even in this, we give thanks to the Lord for His amazing grace! He is our Portion, and our Strong Tower, and, a very present Help in times of Trouble!
My oldest DD, (R), and I got to speak for a few minutes yesterday afternoon, and the phone quit...grrr, so if you are reading this Girly-Girl, your Mom loves you, and will call you later...as soon as I get the phone working again! I think it got flooded out, too!
DS, and my grand Grands, are coming for dinner tomorrow afternoon, so I have been puttering in the kitchen. We are having a special casserole that he loves, green beans with new potatoes, sliced tomatoes and cukes, and pineapple cheescake for dessert. Mercy, but that sounds good, LOL! We settled for homemade hamburgers and fries tonight, but, they weren't bad...especially if you were hungry!
I leave you with this verse. May it bless your hearts and spirits to know that the Father of all mercy had YOU in mind when He spoke these words, too!
"Fear not for I am with thee; be not dismayed, for I am thy God. I will strengthen thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. " Isaiah 41:10

Hi B...wonderful post. We too are being flooded out. I will admit that I am totally tired of all the rain...probably suffering from SADD LOL...I need sunshine soon:-)
My garden is not doing well at all...not one single flower on any tomatoes...few onions and carrots that's all. Very sad.
I too am missing so many from homesteadblogger...not the same that's for sure. Don't even know where to find them sigh!!!
